Silkscreening – First Attempt

Smug Cow is trotting around the paddock in excitement today after her first home silkscreening experiment was successful. It’s just a simple paper cut screened onto 300gsm watercolour paper using some of my old acrylic paint thinned down with printing gel. Now I just need to get on with the rest. Not easy with a Spoodle trying to help.

This one is coming up next. Fingers crossed the template hold up.

All cut out by hand using a scalpel. Clever wifey. Loving the first attempt.

Thanks Wend! I remembered my hours of neat cutting out from college, remember when we weren’t supposed to use computers for a year yet still be graphic design students? Looks like I’ve still got the skills!
