Sh*t Hot Chilli Peppers
Back in October last year I bought four tiny Thai Bird’s Eye Chilli Pepper plants. They grew steadily over the summer and two weeks ago I gathered in a bumper crop. There were far too many to use so I set about trying to dry them. I put them in the oven on a low heat for a few hours, but that didn’t seem to do much, so I put them on a tray and left them in a sunny spot in the lounge for two weeks. Gradually they all turned crispy and last night they all got their stalks removed ready for the jar. They are SEROUSLY hot, so watch out when you come round for curry next time!
