National Rhododendron Garden…

This time with Rhododendrons!

And blossom and Camellias and lots of prettiness. A dazzling sunny Saturday in September.

OK, so these aren’t Rhododendrons – just some impressive trees in the car park!

On Sunday we decided to cycle along the Bay trail from Brighton to Williamstown on the other side of the Yarra. There’s a cute little punt that takes cyclists from one side to the other for $7 return. On the way we found Princes Pier in Port Melbourne with its photogenic remains stretching out to sea and also stopped to watch dozens of kite surfers at St.Kilda. No idea how they manage not to crash and get their lines all tangled.

I’m really bored of typing Rhododendron now. Oh, did it again.
